TASTING NOTES:
The 2023 Sailors Grave shows aromas of blackberry, cassis, creamy saddle leather, and a touch of violets in the nose. The mouth is decadently layered with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and sweet pipe tobacco, with hints of graphite and cardamom, together with polished tannins and a massive, mouth-filling structure. A hint of nutmeg and vanilla linger throughout the finish.
Enjoy this Cabernet with blackened strip steak served with roasted new potatoes and garlicky sautéed spinach.
